S.S. FORT CHARNISAY (7127gt ). North Sands type cargo vessel built 1943 by Burrard Dry Dock Co., North Vancouver with engine by Dominion Engineering Works, Montreal, for MoWT as FORT CHARNISAY (managed by Anning Brothers. 1947 - Returned to the US Maritime Commission. 1948 - Sold to Corrado Soc. di Nav., Genoa, and renamed MATILDE CORRADO. She was broken up at Tsuneishi in 1963.
