Oak chest-on-stand; coffer includes chest over 2 drawers; stand consists of single drawer and 5 baluster turned legs joined by arcaded stretchers and lap-jointed onto bun feet; front of coffer has inlayed holly scroll and leaf design with initials and date '17 MW 34'; inlay design also on front of the 3 drawers; wooden hinges on coffer lid; coffer of single plank construction; left-hand side drawer still retains paper lining. Initials TM stamped on left side of chest.
