Sugar bowl, earthenware, standing on a spreading waisted foot-rim with a band of beading around it, bulbous reeded lower body sloping inwards at the shoulder to a concave neck, flaring lip-rim, two bands of beading around the shoulder, the neck moulded with raised alternating foliate sprays and shell ornaments, a band of beading around the lip-rim, to either side of the body twin moulded shell handles, high bell-shaped cover with nipple-topped finial with a pierced steam hole through it, a narrow band of beading around the sides of the cover, the top of the cover reeded; the sugar bowl and cover covered all over with silver lustre.
