Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a foot rim curving into straight spreading sides; painted with set pattern 236; an octagonal reserve in the centre, of a slender, ovoid vase of stylised flowers in iron red, salmon pink, and gilt, with an underglaze blue line border; four cartouches around the edge painted in similar colours, with a red arabesque shaped border, all reserved on an underglaze blue ground with gilt arabesque scrolls, and red and pink flowers; on underside of lip, three trailing stems of red flowers with underglaze blue leaves; plain gilt band to the lip.
