Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An incomplete inhumation of an adult male aged 33-45 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented west-east. The grave was disturbed by modern activity and the legs were lost.
Elements present: Crania (trauma: possible blunt force trauma on frontal?), mandible, maxilla, loose teeth (pathology: several abscesses), vertebrae, ribs, L and R scapula, L and R clavicle, L adn R humerus, L and R radius, L and R ulna, proximal epiphyses of L and R femur (pathology: bone regrowth, unusual linear pattern to lamellae), carpals, metacarpals, phalanges.
A bag labeled 'Intrusion' included: Crania, ribs, n=2 loose teeth, carpals and metacarpals, phalanges, unidentified long bone fragments, miscellaneous unidentified fragments. The pathological femur may be an intrusion.
