Square inlaid patchwork table cloth, mid-19th century. Probably made by Michael Zumpf, a Hungarian tailor living in London.
Pattern of a vase of flowers within a circle, surrounded by leafy stems and flowers and floral stem border inlaid against a black ground. Made with woven wool fabric with a raised nap (felted). Partially embroidered with silk thread.
