Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Letter, dated 12 August 1963, sent from John H. T. Stilgoe (Water Engineer for the Liverpool Corporation Water Works) to Mrs Martha Roberts (the last headmistress of Ysgol Celyn, Capel Celyn) regarding the return of a key she had borrowed to the Corporation. It also mentions that Mr Stilgoe will arrange for her to receive the school keys as a memento of her time as its headmistress. Mrs Roberts was the headmistress of Ysgol Celyn from 1957 until its closure on 25 July 1963.
Consists of a sheet of non-watermarked paper with the printed header of Liverpool Corporation Water Works address and crest in black ink. The letter has been typed in black ink and has a handwritten signature, also in black ink.
