Twill weave blue wool breeches (jodpur style). Front has 4 darts at the waistband. Waistband is sewn to the front but not to the back, continues around the back to a maximum 110mm deep, fastens with 2 buttons. Back of breeches has four darts and four button holes to take 4 buttons at the waistbands side openings. Legs are tapered with 8 pairs of bound eyelets below the knee at the outside to take black cotton/linen glazed tape laces. Hem bound with same tape. Stamp on side of back right leg at waist. Paper label sewn to the outside of the right back leg at waist side opening.
