Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Bone pommel, burnt white, oval in plan. The pommel contains a socket (13.5mm long) for the tang of the dagger hilt. The socket was made by drilling 5 holes. one of which passed right through the top. The pommel would have been attached by two rivets or pegs from the side. It has been split and broken by the cremation; recovered in seven pieces, but incomplete.

Notes: The pommel was associated with a cremation and a food vessel, Pot B, from context BG 51 in grave F7; the primary burial of the platform cairn.
