Cup, tea and saucer
Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Teacup and saucer, hybrid-paste porcelain with a yellow-orange translucency; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, London shape, with a narrow ogee handle; saucer standing on a straight sided foot rim, rounded spreading sides; both painted with a frieze of polychrome flowers and leaves, bordered by gilt bands; gilt band to the foot, gilt handle, and a gilt cross sun-ray motif in the centre.
