9 conjoining samian bowl sherds, form Dr37. The fabric is red ware with a good gloss. There is a narrow rim-band and an ovolo with a scroll design. The upper section has heart shaped leaves and there are little geese among the leaves (O 2244 and 2286). The lower section contains godroons and figure types - a sphinx (O 881) and a dolphin facing right (O 2389). There is a stamp on the one sherd that does not conjoin and the signature possibly ends US. There are no other clues to the identity of the potter, although the bowl is probably Flavian.
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
