The single-piece construction is stitched to an upper section of white tabby weave linen, which, in turn, is pleated into a white waistband of the same fabric. Centre back opening and centre back seam. Hem bound with red wool twill tape. No method of fastening at the waist but only an extension of the waistband (c.4cm long).
