Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Album of needlework and embroidery samples mounted to bound pages within a book with marbeled covers (36 pages in total). The album was compiled in about 1838, and includes a range of techniques - includng darning, patchwork, buttonholing, seaming and sampler making. Pupil teachers would often keep a folio of their students' work for future use in lessons.
