FORT BEAUSEJOUR (7151gt) : North Sands type built 1943 by Marine Industries Ltd., Sorel, for Canadian Goverment / MoWT (managed by Sir R. Ropner, West Hartlepool). 1946 – Transferred to Ministry of Transport and managed by Goulandris Brothers Ltd., London. . 1949 – Returned to Canadian Government, managed by G & T Shipping Ltd., Montreal, then sold later that year to Soc. Armadora del Norte, Panama, and renamed THEOGENNITOR. 1952 – Ownership transferred to Cie de Nav. Castro-Niva SA, Panama and Andros, Greece. 1962 – Sold to Quebracho Steamship Co., Panama, and renamed LILLIAN K. (managed by Wheelock, Marden & Co). 1964 – Renamed GOLDEN LILY – same owner. She was broken up at Uchiumi, Japan in 1967.
