Canvas ground embroidered with pink wool in cross stitch. Linear chain link border. At top left corner: large upper case alphabet. Top right corner: small upper case alphabet followed by numerals 1 to 0 twice. In centre: Roman numerals I to X followed by upper case Gothic alphabet. Below: maker's name followed by lower case Gothic alphabet and numerals 1 to 0. Inscription: Ann Jones.
