Ewer, earthenware, bulbous body tapering inwards towards the mouth, wide shovel-shaped spout, grooved high loop handle; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with to the exterior body and handle an all-over pattern of stylized oriental flowers and scrolling foliage, around the interior and exterior lip-rim an elaborate border of flowers and scrollwork against a cell pattern ground, a brown enamel edge to the lip-rim.
