Mug
Satyr mug, pearlware with a blue tinge to the glaze, standing on a circular spreading foot, tall curving sides, loop handle with raised thumb-spur; the mug itself relief-moulded with to the front of the body the mask of a grinning satyr with curling brown hair and beard flanked by bunches of yellow grapes and orange ears of wheat, around the lower body of the mug a border of stiff leavesedged in orange and green, a vine border in orange, yellow and green around the upper body, the sides of the jug also decorated with stylized floral sprays in orange and green.
