Figure of a monkey, hard-paste porcelain, dressed as a courtier, standing on a moulded rococo platform with gilt highlighting, leaning on a tree shump, wearing wig, arms outstretched, mouth open, one foot on top of the other, wearing a purple jacket with gilt buttons, orange striped scarf, patterned blue, white and orange waistcoat, green trousers with stars on them.
