Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, clear white translucency, lustrous glaze with slight pin holes and containing minor grit specks, slight grey-green tinge to the glaze; shallow foot, the rim moulded in six large and six small lobes; the centre painted with a bouquet of roses, convolvulus and other garden flowers, the rim bearing three similar bouquets, containing a prominent tulip and poppy, alternating with three small sprigs, bordered with a simple gilt rim line.
