Fabric, length of

Length of fabric used in the coronation celebrations (Edward VII); Printed design on white tabby-woven cotton fabric; selvages top and bottom: full width of woven fabric = 70cm, raw edges either side. GOD SAVE THE KING in pale gold capitals outlined in black with shadow-effect; below are red, white and blue swags held up with blue/white/gold rosettes. Design is printed six times on this width of fabric.

Accession number written in black on lower PL corner.

F84.188.707.1-4 are all taken from the same fabric: .1 - .3 each have two pattern repeats, while .4 is longer and has 6 pattern repeats.
