Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Circular seal box lid, silvered or tinned copper alloy, decorated with a separately cast crouching animal facing right, with the head turned to the left, looking back over its shoulder. A tail curls around its rear haunch. The form of the animal looks ike a panther, but no spots are now visible to confirm this identification. The animal is attached by a rivet. The figure lies within two concentric plain mouldings and an inner ridge adorned with indentations which may represent a wreath. The hinge attachment is broken.
