Fragments of painted wall plaster from Building VIIB: white; light yellow marbled with white, pink at one edge running into the white streak adjacent; dark red; light green with a 3mm white impasto band and a curving dark-green loop overpainted (?wreath); light pink and light lime-green with an 11mm dark pink band between. A rapidly done streak, in flowing dark-red curves, between the dark pink and the green.
Site Name: Bear House Field II, Caerleon
Notes: Field adjoins the south-west side of the legionary fortress : 'A' material is from Courtyard House (Civil Settlement). Context: from Building VIIB.All five fragments came from below the top tile and cement floor of Room 1, near the south wall.
