S.S. CAPE ADAN. Built 1945 as Liberty ship FORT WAYNE by United Shipyards Ltd., Montreal. She was used as a Stores Issuing Ship for fleet train services (managed for MoWT by Ellerman Lines, London). 1950 – Sold to Angusdale Ltd., Montreal and renamed ANGUSDALE (managed by Lunham & Moore Shipping Ltd). 1954 – Renamed CAPE ADAN (same owner, but managed by Lyle Shipping Co). 1956 – Sold to Bienvenido SS Co, Monrovia, and renamed ANDORA. 1959 – Same owner, but now registered at Piraeus, Greece. She was broken up that year at Savona, Italy.
