Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A square earthenware plate which has fluting at each corner and a handle either side. It has been decorated with a deep blue transfer print, the middle has a scene of tall masted boats and a town in the background, possibly Ferrara, N.Italy (the pattern is called Ferrara). The boarder is full of flowers and foliage and the mouldings on the handles have been depicted.[RJ; 25/11/2008]
