Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Hinged brooch with cast chain loop. The cylindrical crossbar is decorated with ridges towards the outer edges. The bow is broad at the top, with a sharp kick where it leaves the crossbar, it tapers to a small moulded foot. The upper part has a raised panel with five lozenges, one of which still contains blue enamel. Infilling are enamelled triangles, now brown. Below is a series of plain mouldings, three above and three below a central one. The lower part of the bow has a ridge extending to the foot.
