Figure group of Edward Morgan and Jenny Jones, earthenware, standing on a moulded oval base, the group composed of a standing male and female figure with between them a milestone embossed with the inscription "LANGOLEN / 1 / MILE", the male figure, with shoulder-length hair and clad in coat, waistcoat and long trousers, leans against the milestone, the female figure, clad in traditional Welsh costume with high crowned hat, shawl and wide skirts, holds a basket which rests on top of the milestone; painted in polychrome enamels, the male figure with blue coat, yellow waistcoat, and orange neck-tie, the female figure with black hat, orange shawl, blue blouse, pink apron and yellowish floral patterned skirts, the basket painted green, the inscription to the milestone overpainted in black. The piece chipped in places.
