Clasp at both ends secures lid with lock and handle to top. There is also a key for locking the case. Canvas lining inside with one large pocket along one side and smaller compartments for medicine bottles on the other. There are also several adjacent canvas loops along the inside of the top of the case - possibly for holding additional instruments.
