Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Peterborough Ware. Extremely thick-walled sherd, 22-24mm thick, probably from near the base of a large vessel. Dark grey/brown surface, grey core. The fabric is quite hard and some of the large inclusions break the surface. The external surface is decorated with horizontal lines of fingernail or twisted cord impressions.
