Built 1958 by Harland & Wolff Ltd., Belfast, for the King Line Ltd.She was the last vessel to be built for the King Line. 1959 – Transferred to Clan Line Steamers Ltd. 1970 – Transferred to Houston Line Ltd. 1972 – Sold to A. Marcopoulos, Greece and renamed AFRICAN LADY. 1974 – Renamed AFRICAN LION. She was broken up in 1983.
