Plate, soft-paste porcelain, circular shape with tapering foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with six groups of foliate scrolls and ribbon-tied foliage, further moulded scrolls to the outer rim, the rim lobed; painted with to the centre of the well a polychrome scene showing figures, horses and dogs in a rural landscape with a stream, a dirt track and a background of trees and distant hills, a blue ground to the rim with the moulded areas overpainted in gilt, gilt bands around the edge of the central scene and to the edge of the well and the outer rim.
