Lower Palaeolithic flint handaxe

Handaxe made on a cobble pebble. With a thick butt and damaged and missing point. The flint is stained orange.

Flint handaxe found in Coedeva, Cwmbran. This flint tool was used for butchery about 300,000 years ago.
