Tile, originally square in shape but now with broken corners and uneven edges, high-fired red-orange earthenware body; brown glaze applied to the face and traces of glaze on three of the four edges, encaustic decoration in yellow comprising partial fleur-de-lys between two parallel scalloped lines with brown dots, the upper scalloped line is embellished with motifs of stylised flowers and leaves that extended above and below it, the sides and reverse of the tile are encrusted with plaster or a similar conglomerate material.
