Earthenware slip cast milk jug, Kestrel shape, rounded conical form, sides curving gently outwards, upper third curved gently inwards, body pulled outwards to form a large convex lip, long loop handle joined just above foot and just below rim. Light honey coloured, crazed glaze. Four narrow graduated black enamel bands around base of jug, broadest at bottom, interior of jug entirely banded Tango orange, upper side of handle painted orange. Mould line visible on lip.
