Vessel D99 includes the rim fragments of an early medieval cooking pot, probably from the early 11th century.
There is evidence it was designed to have a lid as the rim of this vessel is dished internally. This means the tall, straight rim has an additional thick layer protruding inside the pot that a lid could have rested on.
It's material is dark grey with crushed stone and quartz grits.
It's similar to Llantrithyd no.164.
