Early Medieval human remains
These are remains from the Inhumation Burial of a Younger Middle Adult (25-35 years) who was probably Male They are poorly preserved with under 25% remaining.
The burial is from Phase C: 430-659 AD
A copper alloy objects (2025.7H/2.53, sf 19-048) was recovered from the grave fill. It is not fully identified and could be a Roman stylus or the pin of a brooch from the Roman or Early Medieval period.
