Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Linen ground embroidered with coloured wools in cross, back and eyelet stitches. Thirteen rows, separated by straight, zigzag and wavy lines. Nine rows contain the letters of the alphabet, each letter duplicated, numerals 1 to 9, followed by a further alphabet. The last four rows rows contain various initals, and flowering plant and bird motifs.
