S.S. EROS (974 grt.). Built in 1921 by Pusnaes Stoberi & Mek. Verksted, Arendal (yard no. 51), Norway. Her owners were D/S A/S Eros (C. Konow mgr.), Bergen (Norway. In 1931 the Eros shipping company was sold to Rasmus F. Olsen, also of Bergen. In 1940 she was transferred from the Eros company to Rasmus F. Olsens Rederi A/S. At the German occupation of Norway, she was in homewaters. On 14 October 1941 she was sunk by an allied air attack off Egersund (Norway) whilst on a voyage from Trondhjem to Oslo with sulphur and general cargo.
