Site Name: Bear House Field II, Caerleon
Notes: A hoard of 95 radiate imitations was found in trenching along the south-west wall of Room 18, Building VII. The hoard is stated to have lain in the stone bedding of the decayed brick-mortar floor of this room. Traces of a container (possibly a wooden box) were observed. It is probable that the hoard was buried in a hole in the floor after the building had been left by its normal occupants.
