SuperTed was the star of the first programme broadcast on S4C, the Welsh language TV channel on 1 November 1982. This soft toy has a detachable furry body suit with Velcro attachment (Accession number: F06.23.02) to cover red SuperTed costume with yellow boots and belt. On the chest is printed a triangular flame symbol, the same symbol is printed on a detachable red cape.
