Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Cream jug, soft-paste porcelain, pale greenish translucency, almost colourless glaze. Circular, standing on a shallow rounded foot, flattened bun-shaped body with broad mould lines, shallow lip folded to a grooved up-turned spout, prominent loop handle divided at the top with two foliate attachments and with a shell terminal. Decorated with a gilt line at the foot, the lower part of the sides plain below a running border of gilt scrolls and pink enamel dots, band above strewn with gilt dot flower heads on red thread stems with two green leaves, another running border of pink and gilt dots above; deckelled gilt line at the shoulders, below a band of gilt foliage, with areas of rubbing, gilt ornament to the handle and spout.
