North Sands type vessel built 1943 as RIVERDALE PARK by Davie Shipbuilding & Repairing Co Ltd., Lauzon, Quebec, for the Park Steamship Co., Montreal, managed by Furness, Withy & Co, Montreal. 1946 – Sold to Triton Steamship Co., Montreal, and renamed TRIDALE. Registered at London from 1950. 1957 – Sold to Bahia Salinas Cia Nav., Monrovia, and renamed HARRIER. Registered at Andros (Greece) from 1960. 1964 – Sold to Steering Line, Monrovia, and renamed JAVA STEER. 1967 – Owned by Republik Indonesia, Djakarta, but retained her name. 1968 – Sold to Sun Life Marine industries, Panama, and renamed TRIUMPH. She was broken up at Onomichi, Japan in 1968.
