Two narrow cracks extend down one side of the body from a chip to the lip-rim. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a scene showing a reclining male figure and a seated female figure in a rural setting with trees and bushes, scattered sprigs of flowers around the sides of the well, a puce edge to the rim. A narrow crack to one side of the rim.
