Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Rainbow coloured garland/necklace. Worn in the parade at Pride Cymru, Cardiff, Saturday 26 August 2022.
Garland made from synthetic fabric flowers in the six pride rainbow colours. Each flower is made from two separate parts which are placed back-to back: each part has four petals and is shaped by a process of heat and pressure. Each flower is strung on a white thread and is separated by thin lengths of clear plastic tubing (3.5cm in length/3mm Ø). The pattern of flowers repeats 5 times (= 30 flowers).
