Child's shoe found at Oak Meadow Cottage, Rumney, Cardiff, during renovation work. The newly-opened fireplace revealed a late 19th century clay oven (F79.103.1). Behind the clay oven was a brick wall-oven, in which the child's shoe was found, together whth a knife, a piece of leather and firewood.
