A row of flowering plants is followed by another verse: "Better is it to Gain Great Reputation / Than Heap up Wealth With trouble and Vexation". Below is a flower motif flanked by two rose motifs and a row of rose buds, followed by an inscription: "Hannah Ended This Sampler Thee First of the 10 Month 1736".
