British passport number 180726, issued in Jamaica on 18 September 1954, to three year old Grace Cynthia Martin. The passport has a navy blue hardcover with the royal coat of arms stamped in gold.
Grace Martin used this document to emigrate to the UK in 1954, joining her parents (Eric and Cynthia Martin) who had made the move in 1951 and 1952 respectively. The family originally settled in Birmingham, before moving to Cardiff in 1959 where they leased a house on Fitzhamon Embankment. Eric Martin established a chapel, known as the Church of God, on Wells Street in Canton, Cardiff.
