Double-sided banner painted onto single layer of blue silk. Red and white silk fringe with cellulosic core along side and lower edges. Fringe applied to front of banner. Fringe woven in such a way that mainly red fringes are seen from front and white from back. Red silk ribbon (width: 2.7cm) attached to three points along top edge. Small double turn-back along top edge, selvages on both sides (full width of silk fabric: 56cm). Lower edge folded forward and held under fringe. Painted in gold, blue, red, pink and black. Gold dragon on blue ground with three crescents. Above: helmet and arm holding axe. Below: scroll with motto ''Finem Respice'. Same image on both sides (mirror-image apart from script).
