Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and rounded sides, plain loop handle; decorated in polychrome enamels with to the front of the cup a panel finely painted with a river landscape featuring two figures and a mill, the landscape framed by rococo scrolls in soft blue enamel and gilt, around the rest of the exterior sides and to the interior bottom of the cup scattered floral sprigs, a gilt edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; decorated in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a panel finely painted with a river landscape featuring a figure, an ox, a sheep and a ruined archway, the landscape framed by rococo scrolls in soft blue enamel and gilt, around the sides of the well scattered floral sprigs, a gilt edge to the rim.
