Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into cushion moulded sides and a curved everted lip with eight notches; painted in the centre with a basket of flowers on a pedestal; deep underglaze blue border with elaborate gilding - a continuous scroll pattern inside a border of c-scrolls enclosing an anthemion and dots, between alternating reserves of gilt crosses and a gilt dotted trellis pattern, with pendent gilt fronds; gilt band to cavetto and lip.
