Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Bowl, stone-paste, standing on a wide, tapered foot rim, spreading sides, slightly rounded, rising very steeply; the lower exterior sides unglazed, of a rough, cream coloured body, the upper portions, below the lip rim coated with a transparent glassy glaze; the interior coated with an off-white slip, decorated in under-glaze blue with three thin blue lines, roughly dividing the bowl into thirds, around the upper sides , a sgraffitto pattern, appearing grey, of looping, undulating lines and rounded asymmetrical shapes, between undulating concentric banding; the whole glazed with a glassy transparent glaze, collected in the central well, forming a thick, green tinged glaze pool; cracked and restored.
